Karve

Roadmap

Where Karve is headed.

Karve is a native Windows workspace for the .http files you already write — write, organize, and run them. Here's what's in the app now, what we're building next, and what we're deliberately leaving out. One purchase includes every v1.x update below — no new license, no upsell.

Coming next

v1.1 — what we're building

The next wave of features, in roughly the order we expect to ship them. Order and timing aren't a promise — this is what's on the bench, not a dated commitment.

Workspace

Gather your .http files and collections into one source-controllable workspace you can save, reopen, and share — files stay on disk.

Code completion

Smarter editor assist — complete HTTP methods, header names, and {{variables}} as you type.

Import

Bring requests in from Postman collections and raw cURL commands — converted into clean .http files.

WebSocket

Basic WebSocket support — connect, send, receive, and watch the message log.

…and something we haven't built yet

The list above isn't the whole story. The most interesting feature on this roadmap is the one that isn't here yet — and it'll come from how people actually use Karve. Have an idea that would make it indispensable? Tell us — it might be next.

Not planned

Out of scope, on purpose

Karve stays a fast, focused workspace for your .http files. To keep it that way, some things are deliberately not on the roadmap — they belong to a different, heavier kind of tool:

Scripting engine Mock servers Proxy capture Monitoring Plugins GraphQL gRPC MQTT SSE Team workspaces Collection runner API docs generation
